Cal Northern is pleased to host an American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) “Civility Matters” one-hour program – one hour of free Ethics MCLE with the State Bar of California.

Participants will hear and speak with real practicing attorneys from both sides of the Bar and a Superior Court Judge. This promises to be an interesting and lively panel and will include real situations that confront lawyers.

The panel includes Hon. Jesus Rodriguez, Butte County Presiding Judge, attorney panelists and moderators from the Sacramento Valley Chapter of ABOTA.   ABOTA is an invitation-only organization of 7,600 of the nation’s premier plaintiff and defense trial attorneys.  Members are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.  Through this national Civility Matters program, ABOTA strives to promote the importance of professional and civil behavior in the practice of law.

Attendance is Complimentary.  Seating is limited.  RSVP Required to sbrooks@calnorthern.edu.  Please include if you are attending In Person or via Zoom.  Thank you.
