Self-Help Evening Legal Clinic (Starting February 1, 2024)
Beginning February 1st, 2024, Cal Northern School of Law will offer a FREE EVENING LEGAL CLINIC to assist people who do not have attorneys with their family law, small claims or landlord/tenant case.
The Clinic will be offered 7:00-8:30pm every THURSDAY through April 18th when the semester ends, excluding March 21st which is Spring Break and is available for walk-ins and online via a ZOOM link which will be posted here as of February 1st.

• Please attend the Clinic in a quiet environment so you can actively participate.
• Online attendees will be facilitated via a ZOOM video conference in breakout rooms with law students and the supervising attorney.
Self-Help Clinic Disclosure
The Cal Northern School of Law Self-Help Clinic is available to help both parties in a case about family law, small claims or landlord/tenant matters by giving the parties legal information, assisting the parties to properly fill out required and other forms, and by helping the parties to understand the legal process.
The Cal Northern School of Law Self-Help Clinic is staffed by law students under the supervision of an experienced attorney. Neither the Cal Northern School of Law Self-Help Clinic students nor the managing attorney or any other attorney affiliated with the program can go to court with you.
The attorney at the Cal Northern School of Law Self-Help Clinic is NOT YOUR ATTORNEY, but is a neutral person who does not represent you, or any party. There is no attorney-client relationship between you and any person at the Cal Northern School of Law Self-Help Clinic.
The Cal Northern School of Law Self-Help Clinic may provide services to the other party in your case.
Communications between you and the Cal Northern School of Law Self-Help Clinic student(s) and attorney(s) ARE NOT CONFIDENTIAL. You should consult with your own attorney if you want personalized advice or strategy, to have a confidential conversation, or to be represented by an attorney in court.
